the devastation I'm feeling because I missed this promotional hat from one of the Mariners games last week. I will pay a *sensible* amount of money for this if someone has one and doesn't want it

using public transit is the only way to go between East Bellevue and downtown Seattle. the views are wonderful and it's fast (25-30 minutes to 4th Ave). I just wish we had more direct lines to other parts of Seattle 🥲 The trip to Columbia City is over an hour by bus when it's only 20 minutes by car.

sorta kinda related is that a very common Syrian breakfast/dinner is watermelon and cheese eaten with bread. The cheese is a type of Arabic cheese with black sesame seeds and is usually salty. One bite of the three is p much heaven.

Love this <3 though I should point out that I see a mistake in the formatting of the Arabic words written in this art and I'd love to help the creator fix it (I'm a native Arabic speaker)

There should be a limit to the number of times my cat is allowed to look up at me because his cuteness makes my heart burst every time

I'm certain I have useful thoughts to share but I'm mostly sad and this cat is one of two things keeping me afloat (other thing is the other cat)

I can't get over this picture of the town of Hidd in Bahrain in 1960. It's located on a sandspit (I learned the definition of that today: a stretch of beach material, usually sand or small stones, that is joined to the mainland at one end and projects out across the water.)

My first post will be about Rama Duwaji, a Syrian artist based in Brooklyn, whose work I love. The closest I am to getting a print of hers is buying this design as a part of a campaign for helping people in North Gaza in the upcoming winter everpress.com/khair-ya-tair
