I’m kind of a hater tbh
Yeah! It’s not like they actually lost the battle and then convinced the momentarily-still-possessing-entrails public to open up the gates of Rome for no reason.

…Right?

The more we can show realistic situations of people being compassionate human beings, the better.

The thing about troll caves is they only fit so many trolls.

What “do your own research” means to different kinds of people

Chef’s kiss on that one. But I think it’s simpler: if you vote for that guy, you gotta be pretty unhappy. Him winning an election isn’t going to change that.

Sounds reasonable, but what’s your F1 score trend?

One benefit of mommy and daddy not talking: you ask mommy for a sick day, then ask daddy the next day.

Everyone I know who listened to him for an extended period of time is a kook. He’s a willfully ignorant contrarian and a magnet for people just like him. If you have a tiny bit of sense, you get bored of that approach pretty early in life.

Team Harris checking in. Fight me, Kamala gang

I’m guessing the word radical is the issue here. People who vote against their own interests and embrace ignorance in their private lives are kooks/fools in my book. People who spread/foment hate or violence are radicals

For everyone who didn’t read: this is about how to de-radicalize someone you love. The subject is still a bit of a kook, but no longer a radical.

It’s a good read. Do we still do that on this side of the political spectrum or is everyone done with that whole thing?

Well, if you’re in national politics for like 6 decades, you build up all kinds of facts that people can look into. Like a policy record: votes, legislative proposals, executive orders, etc.

I wonder what those facts might have to say about all this

Here I’ll provide an analogy of what you’re doing right now:

What magistracy was Caligula a member of since “the Republic flipped?”

THE SAME CONSULSHIP HELD BY CINCINNATUS you fool. Ave Caesar, take your “Senate and People of Rome” elsewhere
