No no you got it right the first time, that 4th image is Ozma & Dorothy. Its from a short chapter in book #14 called The Mist Maidens

“Very gently the Mist Maids held them…they supported the 2 girls above the surface of the billows & floated with them so swiftly to the green hillside opposite”

Hank, what are your thoughts on this atrocity?

After the week we’ve had in the house, a splurge at the local Static Tape used video store feels completely justified. And this was actually restrained, there were a lot more Lupin OVAs and Ranma sets I could have gone for.

Just glad WB still remembers the Famous Studios Popeye & Thundercats 2011.

The kids’ Trunk or Treat event gave me a chance to test out this year’s Dalmatian costume for Halloween.

Its really tough getting the makeup around the eyes

"Friends" is a beloved American sitcom that aired from 1994 to 2004, following six young adults—Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe—living in New York City. The show explores their friendships, romances, careers, and personal growth over ten seasons.

There’s a ZITS comic where the main character’s dad is excited to relax on his couch after a hard day’s work, only to be disgruntled by Jeremy taking up all the room.

Just a thought that came to mind when I came to bed only to find THIS comfortably taking up all the room.

My two handsome boys! Heading to uncle’s wedding.

They both look so thrilled.

Last night was the rehearsal dinner for my brother‘s wedding. One of the games they had at the restaurant was darts so naturally Ruby spent an hour trying to hit the bull’s-eye.

Raising a regular Chane laFure here.

Dude this movie just came out, like, 3 months ago!

Once KPop Demon Hunters got the attention of the Descendents/Zombies fanbase, it was destined for success.

If I had a nickel for every time a 90’s cartoon character’s voice very clearly switches to Jim Cummings during the song…

The very last thing Dr. Seuss could have heard before his death was Smells Like Teen Spirit

So yeah, if anyone knows the name of this character or who produced this, hit me up!

I remember the crocodile refers to the mystery as “The Case of the Disappearing Ice Cube”, but I don’t think that was the name of the film itself

I know the description in these clips says 1990s, but the quality of the footage really makes me think this was made in the 70s.

Exhibit A: Just look at how the kids are dressed!

Did anybody else see this short film in science class? A 70s animation/live action blend where a detective alligator determines what happens to a melted ice cube.

There are lots of clips from it on Shutterstock (with no audio), but no info on the title or who produced it.

I’ve said before how I didn’t really get into anime until the 2010s, that brief window after the singles market collapsed but before streaming took off.

And whenever you look back on what anime singles cost back before then….man was that a lucky bullet to dodge!

Spent a bunch of time hanging on the salt flats, just to see what flat land feels like.

This valley is made entirely of the salt from fanboy tears

Dont usually splurge on theatrical releases for the whole family these days but ELIO was well worth the admission
If you liked the manic energy of Turning Red, the limitless sci-fi of Guardians if the Galaxy, or ever felt isolated for being different, this comes recommended

A summer tradition: set up the projector and enjoy a film under the stars.

No better film for such an occasion than the best movie Disney ever made.
