From December 2015, view of the Panama Canal and BCI while climbing 50m above the forest floor to survey lightning strikes. I usually travel to Panama in the summer, so this trip offered a new experience- seeing the forest in the dry season and experiencing the field station during the holidays!

Check out some of the unique herps I found while conducting field work at the beautiful Archbold Biological Station to study centipede-eating snakes. Check out my previous work on these snakes (academic.oup.com/icb/article/...) and stay tuned for our results from this trip!
