Embroiderer. Raleigh, NC. She/her.
I got to see the embroidery of Mary Queen of Scots at the V&A in London last summer. It’s incredibly well preserved.

I have an older model of an Daylight magnifying floor lamp. But these are pricey.

Thankfully, there’s a lot of magnifiers out there. I find magnification of about 3-5x good for needlework.

Alternatively, some people prefer reading glasses.

I use an led lamp with a magnifier.

(Have to make sure the magnifier never has sunlight going through it, bc it can burn your work.)

Democrats thought unity meant bringing people back together after Trump.

But most of them were so cozy. They missed that people were struggling.

And the real unity was to to rally people to be strong after so much loss.

Yes! I read a history of pandemics & economic issues almost always follow.

People don’t realize how much worse it could have been.

Mostly because politicians didn’t teach people. People pointed out Biden’s achievements, but without the historical context, it meant nothing, when groceries were $$$

If you haven’t already, check out Margaret Dier’s book on thread painting. Great resource.

They want to bring visitor numbers down and then pretend they have justification for selling off the land to private owners.

Talk about a buried lede:

“The deer was reportedly kept in a pen on her family's property.”

Whole Foods, at least in my area, is the only grocer to carry items for my specific dietary needs. I suspect this is true for many others, as well.

Trump won because he wasn’t in jail. Because Biden was too afraid to be political about justice.

And any criticism of that was quashed by Democrats who were afraid of any dissent of their guy.

It’s time to shed all this fear.

Excellent as always. I’d also add that this man wants women to dress in a way where he doesn’t have to manage the thoughts and feelings he’s experiencing.

And instead of simply noting a simple attraction and moving on with his day, he embarrasses his wife with his words and actions.

Was kind of hoping the advice would be flowing the opposite direction after the election a couple weeks ago.

The one where Schumer refused to endorse Mamdani but the people voted for him anyway.
