Booker: "I confess that I have been imperfect. I confess that I've been inadequate to the moment. I've confess that the Democratic Party has made terrible mistakes that gave a lane to this demagogue. I confess we all must look in the mirror and say 'we will do better.'"

I am committed to praying for our leaders this year.

I will pray that they find & live in light, and that—should they choose darkness instead—they (instead of the people they’re charged with leading) reap the fullness of what they sow until they choose to sow different seed.

There has been so much to grieve this year. This morning, my heart is feeling particularly burdened thinking about women and girls in Afghanistan whose very existence is treated like a crime. Mercy, Lord.

Today in capitalist healthcare, we take a moment to ponder how curing diseases is a poor business model.

“GILD is a case in point, where the success of its hepatitis C franchise has gradually exhausted the available pool of treatable patients,” the analyst wrote.”

Everyone should be sharing this story about the Amnesty International report because yes many of us have long acknowledged that it’s a genocide but there are still people who need the validation of a report from an org like Amnesty to believe it’s true zeteo.com/p/amnesty-co...

It's the little things these days. Today, it's podcasts: the way 'Ridiculous Crime' never fails to leave me shaking my head in utter (often very amused) disbelief, and how much absolutely cool stuff I learn listening to 'Radiolab for Kids' - alone or with my kids.

I was preparing to pitch an op-ed on the nationwide protests calling for President Yoon's resignation, aiming to provide global context amid the limited international coverage.

Given the urgency, I’m sharing it now. I didn’t expect events to escalate this quickly. #SouthKorea #Democracy
