We adopted an adult cat who had FIV. Miss Kitty was normal & healthy for about 7 years before it caught up with her. She was a very contented & well-mannered cat who had no interest in being on the streets anymore. We loved her dearly. An FIV cat probably should be a single, indoor cat.
