Two-day class on collage quilts. Making pictures using flower cutouts from other fabrics. Pattern by Laura Heine. Binged 3 seasons of Foyle’s War while I cut out flowers. Now to trim up the background and quilt it.

The inventors of the first insulin formulation, Banting and Best and others, did the same with its patent. Sold it to Lilly for $1, I think. At the time of its development, it was a miracle drug. Still is.

This is a brilliant idea. Just heard a story in McKinney, TX, where they released a herd of goats for the same job in a park area—clear the areas where the mowers can’t reach. Win-win!!!
