ok one more

saying “the court has never held” is not an argument *at the Supreme Court. that’s what they do: resolve arguments without answers.

if there was contrary authority he would have cited it.

Instead of asking how we can have a left wing Joe Rogan we need to ask how we can radicalize Chef John from Foodwishes
A lot of liberal obsession with Rogan and Rogan didn't grow his audience by talking about batshit conservative stuff but by serving a topic (MMA fighting) that had been underserved by mainstream coverage relative to its popularity.

Four Republicans in Washington State introduced a bill that make defense attorneys civilly liable for crimes their clients commit after they're released from custody.

No chance of passing, and baldly unconstitutional. But pretty nuts that there are even 4 Republicans backing this.

It's only $500 short of what Collin County, Texas, pays an appointed lawyer for an entire appeal from a murder conviction

The government punishing a law firm for defending a client seems like the kind of tyranny we fought a revolution against.
NEW: President Trump moved Tuesday to punish a law firm for providing pro bono legal services to Jack Smith as he prepared to face a potential investigation from the Trump administration.

He is stripping security clearnces and govt funding from the firm. www.politico.com/news/2025/02...
