Fantastic session. The conversation about the structure of Mexican Gothic was great (and I just wanted to say that for me, the slow simmering tension of the 70% leaping into the wild last 30% makes both sections shine).

It really is a fun bunch of people. We were lucky to find each other through various book clubs on r/Fantasy, and now every round of calendar planning or awards voting is its own mini-event that we can't wait to discuss. I'm already excited for next season in the fall. Thanks for the good wishes!

Curated long-form shitposting would be a good time, especially if there's an occasional cryptic hint about your future work hidden in the middle of a paragraph about Hot Pockets or something. Great enrichment for the SFBC crowd, like captivating wildlife rescue tigers by filling a pumpkin with beef.
