thank u! omg the headaches r fucked 😭 ive only come across a couple people with it! i got diagnosed almost 3 yrs ago now but it’s been manageable, 3rd trimester of pregnancy is causing it to go haywire 😮‍💨

i literally have a cannula in my arm rn it would be handy to know ASAP TBH 🫡

also i have 7 holes in my arms from 5 different people trying to take blood over the past 2 days and the one i want to know the results of (iron) is still pending so if nobody can get me an answer before i leave i gotta have another blood test tomorrow & come all the way back for an iron infusion

one of my friends gave me boxes of toys and a play mat and bath seat. another friend gave me a change table and bags of clothes. another friend gave me her $1600 pram with a bassinet AND 2 seats. another has sent multiple packages to my house. this is all in addition to their baby shower gifts 🥺

like today i went to my cousin’s place and she’s like what do u still need to buy? do u have a nappy bag? and i was like im just gonna use the free one u get from the hospital. and she’s like ‘no it’s ugly hang on u can have mine’ 😭

honestly the entire thing is rooted in stubbornness and i hope he feels silly now. it’s a small weight off my shoulders but also makes me mad that it’s something he didn’t do any research about or even check his own records to see if he was covered. just a flat out no and “send me pictures”

i have the funniest/saddest update to this: mum looked at his records and back in may my dad cut his foot open on metal and had to get a tetanus shot….the exact same injection (boostrix) that he was refusing to get to meet my baby. he already had it 6 mths ago for his own health. he didn’t die!

my boss wasn’t in today so i’ll have to call tomorrow my last day. every person who looked at me today was like “you shouldn’t be here” 🫡

i really pictured things differently, like having both my parents visit at the hospital, taking pics of my brother holding his first nephew as a newborn, why did i even bother moving home for this i may as well have stayed in qld and had my mum fly up to visit
