First rule of avoiding wake turbulence is to stay above the glidepath of a heavy. And now you tell me putting my Cessna down on top of a ‘67 is a problem? I mean, why tell me “caution, wake turbulence” in the first place?? Also, can I get the air stairs? It’s a larger drop than I expected.

For a long time, the first thing I have done with a work-issued device is to set the screen background to monochrome, usually black, and disable most of the gui “features” that look cool the first time, but add absolutely nothing to function.

I pay something like $45 a year to avoid ads on Reddit. Having the ability to tweak my feed here, see more of what I want (retro computers, etc) and avoid political stuff, whether I agree with it or not, I’d happily cough up $50 a year for that.

This and digital audio tape, they hamstrung themselves, I suspect because the interest in their media properties made them put so many speed bumps on adoption of technologies
