Not only does therapeutic prayer not work, it actually harms those who know they’re being prayed for.
This study found that when you tell someone who’s recovering from a cardiac bypass that you’re praying for them, they do WORSE.

Then-modern Japan featuring a Japanese secret service that trained in ninja school, with karate, swords and spears? To be fair, I haven’t actually watched it in about 20 years, but I do recall the line when he asks if his fake wife is pretty, and the response is “she has a face like a pig HAHAHAHA”

Absolutely. Some are just bad, but many are RIDICULOUSLY bad. Perhaps it’s nostalgia for an era when there just weren’t many good action films for misogynists and racists to enjoy.

I have a friend at a government agency, who reports that some people who responded to the “fork in the road” email with questions were then let go. Proves that no one was reading their responses, they just counted the reply as a GO vs. a NO-GO.
