The next release (0.13.0) should come before the end of the year and will have several breaking changes!!!!

So read carefully any of the deprecation warning messages that you may be getting: you can also check the list of incoming changes in this changelog (nilearn.github.io/dev/changes/...)

Label maskers can now accept a BIDS formatted ‘look up tables’ to more easily map an atlas region name, its index and its color.

Nilearn now offers some support for “transparent thresholding” plotting that not only highlights statistically significant regions but also includes subthreshold locations.
