The thing is, the simple act of being human is fucking awesome. We are capable of such compassion, such potential, look what we have accomplished. Medical advancements, art, architecture, yes, technology. We used to be fuckin' microbes a couple million years ago. Like dawg. Why slopify any of that
I don't like how many people are falling into complacency, AI for convenience over talking to real humans or doing work. AI "art" doesn't scare me bc I truly believe it just doesn't work, but the realistic videos, chatbots, and scams do. That's what people really fall for and rot over

I tried taping my chest flat with bandages for the first time before going out to an event with my parents. I can’t believe I haven’t tried it before!
I haven’t felt that comfortable in a long time, I was so happy I took some photos when I came home!

Finished playing the new corru.observer update now I have to drop everything and draw stuff about it for a while. It was great! Stayed up all night playing though, I’m going to bed.

I remember Mara saying "kill the cop in your head" and that rewrote how I feel about all art I saw going forward. Regardless of whether I vibe with a piece of art, all art deserves to exist, and folks should be able to make whatever they want
Similar to my post about "liberation means even for that annoying guy you hate" - weird art includes art you personally don't get, don't like, wouldn't spend money on, find unsettling. Games you wouldn't play. Books you wouldn't read. Decommercialise your preconceptions of what art deserves to exist
Everyone saying "make weird art!" you better fucking mean it. There better not be an unspoken "but not too weird" tacked on at the end.
