Of course, the picture is a joke, but to be serious it makes sense that all governmental organizations like schools should have Linux. Why spend a lot of money on a Windows license if there are free versions of the same thing? I mean emails, documents, and sheets can be easily done in Linux.

Fun experiment: run DeepSeek R-1:8b and DeepSeek R-1:32b locally with the same question. Takes 10x more CPU resources. A good illustration of why online GPTs are NOT always a good replacement for old-school Google search. Using a huge model for simple requests is like using a plane to buy groceries.

Soon, with all existing restrictions and limited computational power, there will be malware specifically designed for training AI models, whether secretly or openly, like it already happens with crypto mining. And it might even be less expensive. Even if you have full access to the GPU market.

Exciting! There are many complaints about regulations in the EU that suppress businesses from developing AI services. However, with strong academia, there are opportunities for advancements in AI applications, such as in medicine, astronomy, and other scientific fields.
