Rosh Hashanah: 2oz gin, 1oz honey simple, lemon juice, apple juice, egg whites. Rim coupe glass with honey. Add ingredients to a shaker, dry shake for 15 sec, add ice cubes and shake for 30 sec. Double strain into coupe; garnish w/ apple slice & sprig of rosemary. May you be inscribed and sealed.

I'm so lucky that I am employed in an industry I love (hospitality/tourism) doing a job I love (event planning) for a law firm that pays me well and appreciates the work I do. I'vw traveled from Philadelphia PA to Alaska to run an event, with time to explore Seward and Anchorage with my partner.

Glad I got to hear her one last time. My mom used to take my sister and me to the light show at Christmas, and then we would visit my dad at Girard Bank, where he was an accountant. The bank is now the Ritz Carlton, and the future of the organ is uncertain. So it goes.
The gorgeous pipe organ in the Wanamaker Building in Philadelphia, being played for the last time for the public for the foreseeable future. Sadly the Macy's in the space is closing, and the future of the space is uncertain.

I recently had the opportunity to do a "sing and strip" embodying Florence Foster Jenkins. If you've heard me sing, you'll know this was a rousing tribute to her unique musical interpretation. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be weird, silly, and sexy, while also being middle aged.

2025 is a dumpster fire but I have photographer friends who remind me I am vibrant, alive, and hot as fuck, even when the world is burning. We only get through this together, and with love. Major props to my personal trainer who helps manage my anxiety through fitness, and keeps me healthy.

I am two years and two months from turning 50, and I'm so grateful for burlesque, a performance medium that makes space for people of all genders, ages, and sizes to be creative AND sexy.
A burlesque performer tantalizes the audience with a bra removal. She is wearing a blue bra and underwear. Both are adorned with LED lights. I love to plan vacations for my loved ones. Earlier this year we went to Finland to see the northern lights, the bucket list trip for my partner Jay. They weren't very vibrant, but it was magical.

Our household does use one; when people come over and we ask them to text us when they got home safely, and they forget to tell us they got home safely, we send them The Bear:
