Rosh Hashanah: 2oz gin, 1oz honey simple, lemon juice, apple juice, egg whites. Rim coupe glass with honey. Add ingredients to a shaker, dry shake for 15 sec, add ice cubes and shake for 30 sec. Double strain into coupe; garnish w/ apple slice & sprig of rosemary. May you be inscribed and sealed.

I have no interest in debating the semantics of whether or not this rises to the approved definition of genocide. Give these innocent people food, water, safety, and dignity. Withhold funds from Israel. Enough. Help these babies and these families.
We don’t need to know this to know that no one should be deprived of food and water.

Glad I got to hear her one last time. My mom used to take my sister and me to the light show at Christmas, and then we would visit my dad at Girard Bank, where he was an accountant. The bank is now the Ritz Carlton, and the future of the organ is uncertain. So it goes.

I recently had the opportunity to do a "sing and strip" embodying Florence Foster Jenkins. If you've heard me sing, you'll know this was a rousing tribute to her unique musical interpretation. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be weird, silly, and sexy, while also being middle aged.

2025 is a dumpster fire but I have photographer friends who remind me I am vibrant, alive, and hot as fuck, even when the world is burning. We only get through this together, and with love. Major props to my personal trainer who helps manage my anxiety through fitness, and keeps me healthy.

Financial skeeters - in light of the fire economic situation we are about to face, if you were 48 years old, would you cash out your 401k and take the penalties to be completely debt free and own your house outright? I know under normal circumstances this would be a horrible thing to do, but... ?

I was wearing a cute dress yesterday and I forgot to take a picture. I need to remember to take pics when I'm feeling cute. I spent my teens and 20s wanting to be thinner, with so few photos because I didn't like my looks, and when I look at photos from those times I'm so youthful and pretty.

I have won over my partner's niblings with the Unbreakable Trap. The trap is constructed of my arms making a "hoop" around the child. I close my eyes, secure in the trap's engineering, reiterating the unbreakable nature of the trap, as the child delightfully crawls under or steps over my arms.

I love to plan vacations for my loved ones. Earlier this year we went to Finland to see the northern lights, the bucket list trip for my partner Jay. They weren't very vibrant, but it was magical.
