Being able to speak up for your staff to higher ups. You are the voice of the department. Letting us try new things (within reason). Having our backs. Help us problem solve when we can't figure it out. NO micromanaging. An understanding that work is not life or death.

I don't listen to much, but one that stuck with me was I WHO HAVE NEVER KNOWN MEN. The narrator had such a soft, soothing voice too.
