Crickets are fine as a treat but yeah, feeding them that all the time is like feeding them only junk food. I normally feed mine a mixture of black soldier flies and waxworms. Waxworms fed on reptile vitamins are easiest imo because they last long and become moths which mantids love to chase.

Agreed, they're quite the pain. Some places you can order them as sub-adults or slightly younger so they're at the size where you don't need the flies anymore. Something to look into maybe if you don't want to go through the entire hatching and rearing process.

I will have a look! The blades will be the easiest part in general, lol. The body is going to be a Frankenstein of sewing patterns and the cloak will have to be custom designed and embroidered. The head is last because I need to figure out how to do lights in the eyes while still being able to see.

I've never worked with it before so if you have any useful tips I am not opposed. I plan on using it for the scissor blades. Undecided on the head still as I'm still debating on using thermal plastic for that.

Picked up a few things over the weekend to make it happen. Got lots of EVA foam, very soft white fabric, metallic gold thread and a nice yellow gold paint color. Finding metallic gold fabric that leans more yellow than green has been the hardest part so far tho.

It's definitely way slower but it hasn't really bothered me tbh. I've noticed I'm way more reckless though, face tanking my way through bosses. Enemies in general feel like baby's first moveset compared to Silksong also. Fighting Hornet is so fucking funny.

The jokes about HK being the tutorial for Silksong is pretty on point, lol. A shocking amount of people jumped into it without playing the original and I really don't think they should do that to themselves.
