Book bans save kids Back in the 1980s, Section 28 made lots of schools remove any books which mentioned homosexuality positively. Teenagers are notoriously studious, and only ever come out after they’ve read about being gay & properly researched it. No teenager in the UK came out during the whole time Section 28 was in force! So, it’s obvious that by removing any books that mention trans people from school libraries in Kent, the new council will stop anyone from transitioning. Take away the books, Take away the trans! *This whole post is sarcasm, ok?
