I decided to see if the barred owl was home because I wanted to photograph it while it was snowing.

Look at those ruby red eyes!!! This Cooper’s Hawk was in the tree above our deck, looking down at the deck where the birds flock to the bird baths and the feeders. It has been hanging out keeping an eye on everything.
