Hello from England. We have the same (tax) to pay on goods from overseas. But the post/courier companies email when package arrives in the country and point you to their website, where you can pay electronically in advance of delivery.

At times like this, I wish I worked in finance. Buy AI stocks low. Talk them up. Sell high. Next, all that’s left to do is short the same stocks and make another killing when the crash (egged on by short positions) happens. Simples.

If I recall, he certified himself as ‘as fit as a butchers dog’. I think he meant a dog that repeatedly broke into the chiller for midnight feasts 😂

For me, this has always been the irony of AI at work. CEOs bang on about how they review data and trends to make decisions. If there is one thing AI is good at, it’s reviewing data and trends. CEO should be the first job to go in this this AI utopia *sarcasm* 🤷‍♂️

I always think James Newton Howard does a great job incorpating electronics until film score work. Not just his Dark Knight stuff with Hans Zimmer, but his scores for films like I Am Legend... 👌

As far as I can see, there is no sanction for US banks and management consultants, who pushed for the outsourcing of US manufacturing to countries with lower paid workers. That should be a bigger part of the tariff narrative

I was as amazed watching the news yesterday - not a single journalist having a copy (or quoting from) the ruling itself. They were simply asking guests for their opinion. Madness, I tell thee.
