There's a pretty famous Bible verse on this subject!
"Jesus would kill people if they were doing harm"

No. No he wouldn't. He didn't. It's a whole thing!

Fortunately that neglect of supply chains & logistics is likely to lead to a swift defeat for the edgelords. They can do a shit-ton of damage before then though.
I suspect some of these /pol edgelords have been marinating in combat goreporn for years and those are the parts they’re most excited about. It’s the food/energy shortages, supply chain disruptions, and disease outbreaks that’ll come as a surprise

Boy I sure hate living in the cyberpunk future.
a billionaire who sees undermining political sovereignty as an alternative to paying a relatively minor fine is a problem that will have to be dealt with eventually
Elon Musk is against the European Union being the European Union —he posted this after X (fka Twitter) was fined for violations of the EU’s Digital Services Act.

i think to understand the meaning of the birthright citizenship clause to the framers of the 14th amendment, you have to understand significance of dred scott to the civil war republican party. dred scott wasn't just a bad ruling, it was understood as a rejection of the declaration itself.

Yay loot box!
Guys like this think having 100 guns makes them a one-man army, when in actuality it makes them a one-guard weapons cache.

NEW: An AI image generator startup left its database exposed online, unsecured and accessible to anyone.

The "overwhelming majority" of the files inside contained nudity, with images appearing to contain children and explicit face-swaps

Biden: So, folks, that's my message to all of us today, to all who love our country, to all of us are dismayed by the present state of the union: it's time to get up, get up and fight back. Get up. Continue to fight. What's the fight all about? Protecting the constitution.

Out of curiosity I popped over to @nymag.com to see how they're handling Nuzzi's story on Biden's reported cognitive decline. It still says an internal review found "no ... evidence of bias." She wrote campaign memos for a rival presidential candidate!! nymag.com/intelligence...

this is really it — this case isn't about the legitimacy of birthright citizenship or the 14th amendment, it's about the legitimacy of the court, and any ruling that doesn't uphold the former decides the latter
Counterpoint:

The Supreme Court lacks the authority to change the text of the Constitution.

So either it affirms the text or (further, and more completely) nukes its authority as Constitutional arbiter.

There’s no third option. Art III (courts) can’t just usurp Art V (amendments).

Blumenthal flounders on a basic question: are China/Russia dictatorships? If you can’t answer that, it confirms what’s been obvious for years, Blumenthal & his ilk function as a propaganda arm for despots globally. His evasiveness is the tell that he has long since abandoned journalism for agitprop.
