Cute little WarioWare-esque game! It's funny that this is where the money from cosmetics went. Also the constant Absa teasing is totally just ramping up to her being the final of the first four DLC characters, right?

5. Steven Universe (Future) (Also The Movie)
I only finished Future this year but fuck it. With hindsight and being able to watch it all uninterrupted, this is an incredible show, up there with ATLA. 2010s Tumblr didn't deserve it. So mad no one back then told me how funny this series is.

Fantastic demake, feels almost too good to be true. Immaculate presentation, fixes most problems I had with Gaiden and Echoes's game and map design, fixes some... egregious problems with the writing. There are flaws for sure, but that's for another post.

This was my favorite game for a really long time, and playing through it again with my fiancée as a fresh pair of eyes really reminded me why. I last beat the game 9 years ago, when I was barely an adult, and I think tons of things hit harder now, especially the end.

Didn't mean for the second piece of media to also be Hypnospace-related but here we are! It's a wonderfully cheesy game with good gameplay and levels. It's a great character study for Zane and has legit neat ideas for FPS mechanics.

1. Hypnospace Outlaw
I actually bought and played most of this game back in 2020 after I saw Vinny play it. I got stuck in the final act not knowing how to progress but did manage to finally finish it. It's a delight all around, equal parts funny, sincere, and heartfelt. Glad I went back.
