My deeply loved retired football player of a cat, Frisco. I had to rehome him in 2020 when I moved but he stayed with my ex, whom he loved more than me anyway. Passed in 2023, being snuggled in a lap on the couch which was his favourite thing (besides eating cheese).

I think there's a broader media literacy problem, too, which includes the inability to listen, the inability to remember, the inability to research, and the inability to critique.

I definitely suffer from some of these, so maybe it is good that there's just a bigger range of media formats now.

Furthermore, France (a parliamentary republic) faces similar budget arguments, stalemates, and fascist leanings without crown or Tr*mp. www.reuters.com/business/fra...
France gets only brief reprieve from budget pressure
Financial markets cheered last week's defeat of no-confidence votes in the French government but any reprieve in weeks of political chaos will be short-lived unless budget talks starting on Monday find the savings needed to cut the country's deficit.

In a constitutional monarchy like Australia, the Governor General as rep of the Crown can dismiss the entire government & start from scratch, which happened once in 1975 over a budget issue: www.nma.gov.au/defining-mom...

I think this is a *worse* setup than the US. Parliaments are not perfect.

To me this actually demonstrates how few of the students actually read the plays, but that's even further feminine erasure.

Upside: AI generated content would use character names so this is a stupid way to know who is cheating and who is just lazy.

This is the version I saw and the religiosity is a big reason I thought the main character was so insufferable. If he was less devout, it would be such a different vibe.
