I feel this, too. I finished my 1st draft at 130k, got it down to 102k with serious revisions and I'm still afraid it's too long. I tend to write too many plot points and convince myself I need them all

What I worry about is that they'll treat WB's big IPs like they did Del Toro's Frankenstein. An enormous budget for movies clearly meant to be shown on the big screen, but only shown in a few theaters to maintain exclusivity for Netflix.

We need something more depressing than Millennial Gray... I know! How about the absence of all color!

Just finished it. It was amazing. I agree that Laurie was the real star of the show. Hiddleston, though I love him, was kind of stiff here. I've heard the book ending is more bleak than the series, without the Hollywood retribution arc where everyone gets what they deserve.

Are you reviewing lots of things every week? How long are the reviews? Maybe you could cut down on the frequency or length of reviews. I'm also going to try to work reviews into my blog and I'm only aiming for two a month, less than 1k words.

Be consistent, but don't beat yourself up if you miss a week because of holiday stuff. Can't be helped.

I write as soon as I get up, so lack of sunlight doesn't bother me. I can write at night, too.

I just finished a really tough chapter. I'm going into new territory now, meaning I'm halfway through which is where I stopped in the vomit draft. I want to write, but also need to edit a book I finished months ago.
