We need to support and improve our independent institutions such as BBC and NHS - or the power ends up with Farage and other autocrats.

It’s three years since a complaint was lodged against a doctor who recently linked Covid vaccines to cancer at Reform’s conference. But the General Medical Council still hasn’t taken action.

About a sixth of the public endorse very extreme views on making legal/settled migrants leave & then follow up on the specifics. (This overlaps with the 8% who say they support violence in protests & liked the riots, so it should be challenged, not indulged)

Again - the reason the Irish government/nationalists in Northern Ireland wanted a reference to the ECHR in the Good Friday Agreement is that the European Court of Human Rights had held the UK accountable for human rights abuses in NI - whereas "domestic UK and common law principles" had not
One does not simply... rewrite the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement.
