Sure it's a history of the Crusades and the Crusader States from 1097-1187 told from multiple different cultural perspectives, whilst also drawing out the interplay with wider events. It's similar in approach to my earlier book Mongol Storm which covers Middle Eastern history from 1218 to c.1300.
