We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Dickson Despommier.

A brilliant scientist, storyteller, and friend, he shared his vast knowledge and infectious enthusiasm with all who listened.

We will miss him dearly. Our heartfelt condolences go out to all who knew and loved him.

I am researching treatments for a genetic disease and was excited to find some data sources, then realized they were on CDC and sure enough all the links are dead. astoundingly stupid - families affected by genetic disease have it hard enough, this is just insulting
