I'm a cartoonist, writer, video maker, and Star Trek fan. I do fan panels at conventions and help run Trek Track at Dragon Con.

My romcom webcomic Treading Ground came back LITERALLY TODAY after 13 years. Talk about timing!

In the second panel, Nate turns back and awkwardly asks, "Sure. Can you take your top off?" The third, fourth and fifth panels focus on Rose, who looks surprised and confused at first, then appears to blush while considering the request, and finally grins mischievously and starts to lift her shirt up. In the sixth panel, Nate, flustered and blushing, hurriedly clarifies, "The DRINK! The top of your DRINK!" Rose reaches offscreen for her cup and simply responds, "Ah."

Steve: What I know is that she's a manager, so she's under more scrutiny than you are. If she treats you like shit, just go over her head and file a complaint. Nate: Ugh. Maybe. Steve: It'll be fine. Oh I recognize this trope, this is the one where a dumbfuck executive tries to monetize other people's volunteer labor, while vastly overestimating what people would be willing to pay for it (nothing), driving the company they bought off a cliff! It's a sub variant of enshitification. Classic!

TV Tropes is blocking access to the site not only if you have ad blockers on but location tracking off unless you want to subscribe to their $5 a month/$25 a year subscription plan. Even people who have turned their ad blockers off are reporting the site isn’t working. This all seems like a bad idea

NEW CHAPTER! We're about to see what it's like for Nate to have his ex as his new boss.

Chapter covers are a new thing for me, but they're a good opportunity to get more weird and artsy than usual, and that includes getting into a certain dramatic-ass character’s overactive imagination.

Rewatched Disney's Robin Hood for the first time since I was a kid, and I'm not sure what was behind the decision to make Robin and Marian look so similar.

Like, maybe do some basic genealogy before you two get married? You are the only foxes in this entire movie and you look like identical twins.
