Can't wait to get my, erm, claws on this one too!
Still not over this, by the way. I mean, I’m not over *any* of the incredible authors who’ve endorsed this book, but, uh, y’know. I haven’t been precociously sending *everyone* stories since I was a preteen.

On World Autism Day, I read a hearing transcript of an attorney asking a parent if it is true their child “suffers from autism?”

Yikes.

What’s worse, there was no correction/objection from the attorneys for the other parent or the child, nor from the Judge.

We need to do better.

Hi Folks,
I’m thrilled to be able to officially launch Dark Swarm Publishing today.
This is a project I’ve been working on behind the scenes since September last year, with the goal of providing a press which has bases in America, England and Austria.

"Sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast"

This has to be one of my favorite quotes of all time. Lewis Carroll was just so good. Even in the mid-1860s, he could write for all readers; this quote playful for children, but also inspirational to working adults.

Very busy & a lot going on, but some #motivationalquotes and good points to consider:

- I can't complain about having a lot on my plate when my goal was to eat.

- Just remember 5 years ago, you dreamed about where you are now.

- What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I've often heard that some of the best lawyers -- especially appellate lawyers -- are also some of the best storytellers. This is particularly true when the facts or the law (or sometimes both) are complex & dry.

To this point, I think one of the best pieces of advice I got as a new lawyer was...
