90% of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die from the disease. That's why the medical community is excited about the results of a small trial in which nearly half of the pancreatic cancer patients who received an mRNA vaccine for the disease remained relapse-free three years later.

Reminder: if you predicted half the things happening now (threatening to take Canada, Greenland, and the Panama Canal; lawless mass firings; complete defiance of Congressional prerogatives; mass pardons of violent supporters) even a couple of years ago, Serious Thinkers would have dismissed you.

Per NYFed regional business survey, firms' inflation expectations have picked up. On average, service firms expect costs to rise at a 5.7% pace, while manufacturing firms expect cost increases to rise 7.3%. Tariffs a big factor here.

Chief Justice Roberts has ordered that a response to the government's emergency application in the Dellinger case be filed by 2 p.m. (ET) tomorrow.

That quick turnaround suggests that #SCOTUS is hoping to rule sometime this week.

The challenge to Trump's removal of the head of the Office of Special Counsel raises unique procedural and substantive issues likely to prevent it from serving as a referendum—in either direction.

What the actual *?! The White House has designated Mr. Musk’s office, the United States DOGE Service, as an entity protected from public records requests and most judicial intervention until at least 2034, by classifying its documents as presidential records.

This is a good read.
Here’s an article explaining it re USAID.

The same people frame the same stories in the same way. Some agency is part of the deep state and must be destroyed. He boosts the theory to mass awareness AND now has the authority to make the destruction literal reality.

Musk & the DOGE henchmen are now inside & gutting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

CFPB costs less than $1billion to run, but has returned over $20 billion to ordinary Americans who’ve been victims of big business fraud & illegal junk fees.

A great day for corporate scammers.

If Congress appoints Russ to the OMB this week, I believe he will play a key role in legitimizing Elon’s actions. This is also why DOGE being the US Digital Service matters. There are available shrouds of precedent for SOME of his actions & he's the bureaucracy guy that will try to clean it up.
It gets worse: Trump's Treasury Dept has a new letter spinning Musk's access to payment data as a mere "audit" that expands on work done during Biden admin. It's a sham. The letter simply ignores the biggest questions about this scandal.
