How every BIG game begins... 😉

Beautiful environment (it was the visuals that caught my eye) The glowing arrows on the ground detracted a little from it, though... Perhaps they don't feel "organic" enough, so it feels out of place, in my opinion.

Conceptually, this looks very similar to the vision I have for my current project (still working on getting the gravity system to work...) I like how you've given the gravity fields a visible atmosphere to inform the player of where the gravity changes. Nicely done!

8. MYST

As the first computer game I ever played, this one holds a special place in my memory. My first computer had roughly 32 MB of RAM, so the game was nearly unplayable, but after watching a book fall one frame at a time over 2 hours, it was all worth it in the end!

7. SSX 3 (GameCube)

It didn't take me long to become a LEGEND at this game! I could win every race, 1st place every time! Jamming out down the slope to 'Radio Big' was an absolute vibe! I would play till my hands blistered!

6. Homeworld (PC)

I'm awful with real-time strategy games, but I couldn't stop engaging with this game's immersive atmosphere. To this day, it has one of the coolest openings for a game I've seen! Much like #markiplier, I think Space Is So Cool!

5. Banjo Kazooie (Nintendo 64)

Standing out (to me) as one of the most iconic story-driven adventure games of its era, this gem fits well alongside my red-capped plumber friend. Click Clock Wood and Mad Monster Mansion were my favorite levels!

4. Animal Crossing (GameCube)

My father said, "Here, I found this game at a Thrift Store; thought you might like it..." The hours and hours I poured into this game over summer vacations... Nothing has compared to that first little town I called home...

3. LEGO Rock Raiders (PC)

This game inspired a mini obsession with caves in young me (and its unique music style may have instilled my predisposition for liking #OwlCity years later...). I'd play the final level for hours trying to get all the energy crystals!

2. Super Mario 64 (Nintendo 64)

I can't tell you how many times I completed this game in its entirety, but I can say that back before I had the Internet to listen to music, I would beat Bowser over and over just to listen to that end theme one more time...

1. Donkey Kong Country (SNES)

My siblings and I would sit in front of the cabinet-encased CRT TV display for hours. The unique art style of 3D models plastered against a 2D world enthralled me, but the music held me captive far longer...
