Despite not growing up with Akira Toriyama's work, I did finally dive into watching Dragon Ball in recent years.

I'm thankful because when recovering from a sexually abusive relationship, my best friend from childhood kept me company while we watched Dragon Ball together last year.

i'm not saying that furry porn is for everyone - the furry community and the queer community both include asexual folk, for example - but furry and kink porn are things that corporations have a hard time capitalizing on, and there is value to that in the overall struggle for our rights

As queer kink artists we can and should exercise consideration for others and be responsible that our work is only seen by adults. Put content warnings where warranted. That ties back to the importance of consent that we recognize as integral to sex play

"Take up less space" is unacceptable, though

i think it's important to remember that "we're here, we're queer, get used to it" was one of the rallying cries of our LGBTQ+ elders because respectability politics had been tried up to and after Stonewall and had largely failed - Stonewall being proof of that failure. Appeasement doesn't work
