Apparently if we ever find ourselves detained under Schedule 7 of the increasingly open to interpretation Terrorism act, you are legally required to do exactly that.

Here is a comic I wrote in 2022 about waking up in the middle of the night.
Panel 1: I stand at the top of my stairs and see my front door at 1.35am. I get scared. Panels 2 and 3: I imagine a person wanting to be let in. Panels 4 and 5: I despair at the fact I would let the monster in even if it says it’s cold. Panel 1: I imagine a monster in my back garden being cold. Panels 2: I cannot get off to sleep Panel 3; a weird noise happens in the corner of my bedroom. Panels 4 and 5; it’s revealed it’s my printer being weird and I am locked in a nightmare.

I set up my first solo show in 13 years today. Making Zines means that everything I make is quite small, so I didn’t know what to to fill a huge gallery space.

So I made 500 zines.

Saw the Osees for the seventh time this evening. They’re the best live band on the planet. I was extremely happy to share it with my friend who got to experience it for the first time. Great stuff

An absolutely excellent skewering of the rubbish quality of AI art in this months Art Review. My favourite line describes AI-generated images as “techno-weaponry disguised as creative toys”.
