Everyone’s aware of the terrible state the NHS is in. Now please think about who works in that terrible state. Who’s responsible for patients, despite the problems, despite the long waits, the overcrowding, the lack of resources?

NHS staff.

Please do not turn against them.

Every machine in a Hospital that diagnoses your body without cutting you open is based on a principle of Physics, discovered by a Physicist who had no interest in Medicine.

If you think the world doesn’t need Basic Science, or that somehow Science has failed you, think again.

The BBC keep doing this. This isn't true. This is straightforwardly wrong in law. The ruling *only* applied to the Equality Act 2010. Trans women are still legally women for the vast majority of purposes! That's the whole point of the Gender Recognition Act.

I've put in a complaint. So can you.

Reasons why the Single Transferable Vote is the proportional voting system we should be working towards
We urgently need some form of Proportional Representation to ensure a representative House of Commons. But what form should it take?

I am really saddened by the level of vitriol and hatred being directed toward the trans community.

We are losing our common humanity. How hard is it to treat people with kindness and respect?

Trans people are human beings — and they deserve to live in dignity like anyone else.

I trust the nation followed Mr Churchill’s advice today 🫡 On a day like this it is every British man and woman’s duty to visit a National Trust property and drink tea.

Mass starvation. Ethnic cleansing. Genocide.

That is what our government is enabling — and it should be eternally ashamed.

End all arms sales to Israel now.

It has been a month since any aid entered Gaza. Meanwhile, Israel has announced its intention to seize large areas of Palestinian territory.

Our government's response? To continue to allow the supply of arms to Israel.

Your bills are going up because this government would rather protect the profits of a few corporations than the livelihoods of millions of ordinary people.

End this outrageous rip-off, and take water and energy into public ownership now.

Black lives matter.
Gay, lesbian and trans people deserve the same rights as everyone else.
Workplaces, and their staff & customers/clients benefit when they accommodate diversity.
People should be allowed to follow their religion.
These statements reflect basic human rights and a civilised society.

Yesterday, its co-director Hamdan Ballal was beaten in his home by settlers before being detained by Israeli forces.

People applauded Hamdan. Now they are silent. Free Hamdan.

This is a seminal moment: a Labour government cutting disability benefits. Not just continuing Tory levels. Cutting.

This comes after a week of speculation, itself an act of cruelty by a government toying with people’s dignity.

These cuts are disgraceful - and they will cost lives.
