Spurs play terrible football. Every stat is damning and losing is now expected. I fear things are going to get worse before they get better.

Any team can have a bad spell or a choppy period when getting accustomed to a new coach But this season has not provided even a hint of an improvement on last. Shape, selections, plays, energy are all pointing to not knowing what to do. Patience won’t fix that.

This is true. The constant ‘oh it’s not Franks fault’ or ‘he needs time’ ring hollow when he has never shown himself up to the task. The football he sets up to play is objectively atrocious . If you get on the wrong train, staying on it is not patience, it’s stupidity.

It’s the absolute assurance of those running around claiming (keeping) ‘Ange would have been a fucking disaster’ while simultaneously ignoring the ACTUAL disaster served up from the start by TF and demanding patience without a scintilla of promise or improvement. It’s just weird.

To only judge from a third of the way into a season is it? Being impressed with his perceived intellect is one thing. Judging what you see in front of your eyes is quite another.
