Found a ridiculous puffer vest in this iridescent green so made our INIQUITY: UV Art Gallery patch for it!

And iridescent chartreuse green fabric with a patch of black linen fabric as the background and neon green and neon yellow geometric designs overlaid on it. In the center of the patch in is the word INIQUITY outlined in neon yellow. The same patch shown in a darkened room with a black light shining on it. The neon green and yellow are glowing at about the same frequency and looks very close to the same color.

Another art piece in our Iniquity gallery. I made the frame and added a peg board as a backing, covered it with a fake plant wall I had spray painted glow in the dark accents on the leaves.
I bought a bunch of UV reactive aquarium plants and my friend Skates attached to it.

This art piece was a happy accident. I had already made the Lei wreath and also had dot art painted this skull separately as two art pieces. When I was packing them up to take them to be in our UV Art Gallery I nestled the skull into the wreath and a new art piece was born.

One of my favorite methods of fluid art is the Dutch Pour.
I love how the paint swirls and lacing around.

I specifically choose Mardi Gras colors for this 12" x 14" painting as it always reminds me of when I used to live in New Orleans, one of my favorite cities.

To date I've made about four head pieces and they keep getting better with time.
I crafted this headband to pair with a beautiful black caftan that has gold brush strokes and a crane painted on it.
My favorite part is the soft glowing lamp hanging down from the side.

A white mannequin head wearing a double arced golden headband with a spray of fake gold orchids across the top arc. Interspersed between the right side of the gold orchid spray there are black velvet leaves and black pine needles with gold tips. Hanging from the left side is a gold hair pin that has a small oblong lamp with gold and pearl accents. The back of the mannequin head shows more of the black velvet leaves and the black pine needles with gold tips. You can also see that roughly 1/3rd of the headband is actually covered in black velvet along the left side. Against the black velvet you can clearly see a tiny gold plastic snake that is running from the top of the velvet towards the bottom with a couple gentle curves of it's body. You can more clearly see the back of the golden hair pin lamp body with the pearl accents. This is the same shot of the front of the headband mentioned in the first picture but it's shot in a darkened room. The hanging hair pin lamp is turned on and glowing softly against the spray of orchids and the side of the mannequin head.

The swirly sherbetesque Pride colors and the fact that the fabric is very soft with a slightly embossed cheetah print on it made it a must have when I found this knit fabric at the swap meet.
I used my own patterns to sew it.
Only later did I find out it's black light reactive.

One of my favorite things to do with leftover paint from a fluid pour is to manipulate the paint in tiny silicone baking cups to make tiny planets.
This one is especially fun! Since the paint is black light reactive the bangle has a gorgeous pink and purple glow to it.

My friend Matt and I spent many hours dot arting this 36" carved decorative hanging. It's extra neat if you wear Chromadepth glasses and see the lights push and pull on the color spectrum seeming closer or further away.

I was lucky to score this Enchanted Tiki Room fabric at the swap meet here in San Diego. So I made a dress with matching purse and this headband. The swizzle sticks on the headband are the traditional Pride flag colors.
I then rocked this ensemble at Tiki Oasis in 2022.

Growing up as a goth punk raver kid, of course I love Maleficent.
This art piece was about trying to capture the look of the green flames. While it's quite dark in natural light, the flames really pop under a black light.

Another Heat Transfer Vinyl design I cut with my Silhouette Cameo machine. This is four layers of HTV, a not small task to apply. The red is reflective while the green and orange both glow under a black light, plus white to pop

I was the teenage girl who's room was covered in black light posters and glow in the dark stars.

This painting is 12x12 and shown in both natural light and black light. I love how the white turns to blue and completely changes the way the painting looks under a black light.
