Same! I am told the last few winters have been very light, but I am starting to not believe Chicago gets snow (jk). Excited to be proven wrong (?)!

I love looking over an overpass here in the US onto freeways and noticing how only a small proportion of pickup/hatchbacks have ANYTHING in the bed. Curious.

Plus with rising rates of automobile loan defaults, the current system of common people leveraging huge parts of their net worth for automobiles just isn’t working!

I recently watched a video of different people sharing their experience with debt. It was anecdotal, but a clear pattern was that people without automobiles had much less debt than others! The costs of car ownership, which is often considered a given is actually a huge burden!
