It's not easy. There will be consequences and if someone else will follow those orders, it can be scary to stand up and object. It's the right thing to do, and crucial, but it's not easy.

Someone killed them. If Hegseth didn't give the order, whoever did is liable...but whether he did or not, as Secretary of Defense, he is still responsible, whether he likes it or not.
