Little bits of Bond land on bystanders at the close of the last film. Cut to a classic, recursive 007 title sequence as their DNA is shown reconfiguring into Bond at a cellular level. As he regains consciousness he rips off a sleeve of whatever they wore & field dresses a proper tie; fixes hair.
- open on Bond in ER bed. “Clear!” next scene he’s fine
- he uploaded his consciousness to a computer, just download it into a new Bondroid
- Bond tells a team of kid agents what to do through a magic Speak ’n’ Spell
- hire a necromancer to reanimate him
- his spirit haunts a talking Chucky doll

James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

I understand the argument about relying on LLMs to a fault, knowledge entropy etcetera etcetera but, like, I never really learned CSS Grid and I'm pretty sure that brain space can be better applied

There needs to be trials and there needs to be people sent to die in a prison cell. Consequences must fall on the people who issued the orders and those who carried them out. We must make the punishment of these people a national spectacle that will be remembered for generations.

after some hilariously bad attempts by an LLM to reduce headlines to a subsetting string, I went back to the old ways. Here is a google sheets tool for generating a sorted character list, where A1 is any text matter you have.

All this Thiel group thread et al silliness makes me realize that there have been thousands of salons & schools of thought along history that were just SO deliciously daft but they didn’t make the curriculum

It's not in this article but the government asserts that the sandwich was thrown at "point blank range", which implies subway sandwiches have defined effective weapon ranges of varying lethality, and I would like to see the government's chart of these ranges.

Basically the idea of Diffuse, chopped into custom components so you can hook it up, and style it, however you want. Here's multiple audio inputs (subsonic & aws s3) fed into some processors (search, metadata, etc) + webamp.org

It is too on the nose for the most beloved bodega cat in the Mission to get killed by a Waymo. It’s a heartbreaking and deeply cliché entry in the annals of San Francisco gentrification commentary. Delete it, please, and try again.

New incredible detail here: ICE says a match in its facial recognition app Mobile Fortify is a "definitive" determination of a person's status, and that this overrides birth certificates. This is an app ICE is using in the field to scan people

extrapolating from a scene exactly how graphic design — plus a President who can't or won't read good — might determine ±10 million deaths, has wrecked me
