Good article. This chart in particular is the main reason I value polling. I think both traditional media and social media do a bad job of providing overall context.

Increasingly, I want to know "What percentage of the population truly falls into each bucket?" on both ideology and policy questions.

Yes. Dems need Gen Z and Millennial voters, and these phrases are a huge turn off if you're not old enough to personally remember Reagan's presidency.

There are already more Millennials than Boomers. Millennials are the largest living generation in the U.S. today.

Gen Z is starting to move back toward Democrats now. A popular Dem president in 2028 would help a lot, I think.
