It’s my birthday today and I have one of the best presents you could give a 40 something year old working mum can get. The house to myself and pretty much silence for at least 7 hours 🥳

I actually wonder why I try and have a career with 3 young kids. I’ve had to take more time off (unpaid) because of illness this past 2 weeks than I’ve been at work. I’m being pulled in all directions and hate letting people down. So it all sucks inc paying £100’s for childcare I haven’t used!

I think the universe hates me today, couldn’t get in the car park at work, then got stuck in the lift at work (whilst going to move my car so I didn’t get a parking ticket) the too round the day off an old lady goes to hit me. If anyone wants me I’ll be hiding for the rest of the day 🙃
