On the other site, an 18-year-old Zohran canvasser described the legendary Wallace Shawn as "the actor who plays Dr. Sturgis on Young Sheldon" which is honestly adorable

Fondly remembering our English class discussion of Upton Sinclair’s The Jungle. “People used to die because there were no regulations” was the gist of it. There was pride in that. We called it Progress?

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about the problems with modern computers lately. The hardware is better than ever but the problem is the software.

Our devices have become time vampires, designed to capture our attention, often at the expense of our mental health.

Alt: a man sits at a desk in front of a computer screen. He’s Colin, the energy vampire from What We Do In the Shadows, a vampire who doesn’t drink blood, but just sucks the will to live from people.

First hat crochet collection. Still no idea what I’m doing. Each hat is for an individual. I thought about their style as I went. Each is worn v differently; blue’s worn w/ folded brim, the black either/or; yellow 30’s style pulled low; pink is almost cloche-like? Patternless. tension exploration.

I made another crochet thing. I’m leaning into it. At this point, I’ll have an etsy shop in a few months as I avoid apps & news. Maybe I’ll start making waistcoats. What other niche articles should I make?
