I've only put 3.5 hours into silksong and I've hated every second of it, I don't think I can keep going anymore on like, a psychological level exploration and combat feel so fucking demotivating why do I get fuck all for fighting bosses but just stumble across major moveset upgrades by accident why does the game have fucking foreground elements that can block my view of enemies why is the down move so fucking precise why are we STILL doing the dark souls ghost thing in a METROIDVANIA where finding a map that's actually useful feels like WORK FOR A SECOND TIME I feel like I'm losing my fucking mind this is supposed to be goated but playing this feels like I'm the butt of a joke everyone else is in on

uh oh its sad posting time
I feel trapped in multiple senses. I feel trapped in the house I've grown up on for the last 20~ years since living anywhere else feels like a financial impossibility for someone who hasn't worked full-time yet and the idea of leaving my aging parents behind with nobody to help with day-to-day jobs and chores riddles me with guilt. I feel trapped in a world that is actively fighting against me. Finding a job as I'm sure most are aware is a grueling experience, one I went through for the most part of a year during 2023 and most of last year which drove me to a point as close to Ending Everything as I've ever gotten. As I'm transitioning (lol) out of my current part-time scheme position into a 3rd college enrollment I'm as uneasy as ever that not only will I actually be able to find employment with what I've learned this time around but also stay motivated to working in this field. I feel trapped in a body that I currently feel I'll never get to make truly my own. I spent 600 quid in 2022 on laser hair removal that had little to no effect and the thought of spending the same amount or more on additional sessions or a different procedure scares me and makes me worry that I'll never afford the price of being comfortable with myself. Since September of last year when I started my job, my family has insisted that I keep my hair shorter in order to be presentable for my reception position and this has been distressing me for a long time. The idea of needing to always be 'Presentable" has forced me to present as male which extended to me being to afraid to do so at home, for as little as I used to. Even painting my nails again feels like a risk as I'm worried somebody, be it co-worker or client, will have some sort of negative reaction. The only light at the end of the tunnel at the moment is that my next year or 2 in college will give me the room I've been dying for to start presenting how I want again but starting nearly from scratch and knowing it won't be instant hurts a lot. i dont know shit!!!!! but i feel things!!!!!
