This is not spoken about enough; there needs to be more attention about the benefits of keeping it simple! Many people get lost in the complexity of diets and place excessive pressure on themselves, which ends up putting them in a worse position than they were in before. #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

It’s shocking how much of this is marketed to children who are drawn to high-fat, sugary foods. These promote unhealthy habits early on, which can have lifelong effects, especially during key developmental stages. There needs to be a stronger push for clean foods that offer the essential nutrients.

I totally understand! It can get very hard once you get into the flow of life to remember to cook meals and eat clean every day. I have found it sometimes helpful to designate one specific day to meal prep for the week and take off from that until I need to reset again. #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

You have always heard about multivitamins, and they sound good for you solely from the name, and they seem like they would resolve most issues. When you dive deeper, many of the symptoms can be resolved with living a healthy lifestyle and eating a clean diet! @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

That is a great source to recommend! The addition of fruits, veggies, and whole grains is are simple but perfect way we can improve our diet greatly. Mayo Clinic's studies are well backed, and I have only heard great things! As a provider, they would be the first source I would share with a patient!

That is such an interesting diet! I would have never thought that grapefruit would be such an important part of a diet. It would be cool to examine which properties of grapefruit break down fatty compounds. Many fruits have a bad reputation due to their sugar content, but they are truly a superfood!

Thank you for sharing! I love breakfast sandwiches; they are a very efficient way of starting your day with a kick! They're full of great nutrients that make my body and brain ready for the day! I would try to add kale, arugula, and avocado to your breakfast sandwich to make it even more balanced!

That is really cool that you are a vegetarian! I have many friends who have tried different diets, and how difficult for them it has been to supply their meals with enough protein. Chickpeas (hummus), tofu, and nut butter are good examples of high-protein foods that you could add to your meals!

I had not realized how important the difference was between fat-soluble vitamins and water-soluble ones. It surprised me that something seemingly so crucial for our health can also be very harmful in large amounts. It is a perfect example of how important balance is when it comes to a healthy diet!
