I spent 40 minutes waiting to speak to someone about my tax code on Monday only to be told she wasn’t trained and passed me on to a colleague who after 5 minutes cut me off 😭

So sad. I see it with Rotary friends as they get older. The change seems to come suddenly and dramatically. 1 friend in particular was sharp as a button until his mid 80s and now struggles to grasp things 😢

As you mentioned, probably more worrying for relatives than for him then. Not much fun getting old is it? Not keen on the alternative though!

Oh dear. Sorry about that. A&E is a nightmare for elderly people. Spent many an hour there with my mum, only to be told there’s nothing they can treat and sending her home. Soul destroying experience. Hope he’s feeling better soon
