It's not perfect but having just flown across the country having to deal with 3 different airports the rule at PDX about prices having to being the same as in the city means that PDX is still way cheaper than pretty much any other airport.

I think he's just trying to emphasize for people who aren't aware that this is the current state of things. I'm sure he understands this has been their identity for a very long time. I also think it's notable how willing they are to take their masks off now.

I think he was talking about in the context of past episodes of this like the one with Sam Seder for example where most of them were still crazy but not quite to this level. Also I didn't watch this interview but in others he was trying to point out that they didn't do this to Jordan Peterson.
