Psychologists say taking the time to thank ourselves for the qualities that carried us through life can be healthy and important, even if doing it feels awkward.
Remember to give thanks to yourself during the holidays and beyond
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on what we have to be grateful for. The list often includes the loved ones, food and shelter that may surround us during the holidays.

Pete Hegseth is right: Mark Kelly shouldn't be a senator.

He should take Hegseth's job and be SECDEF.

I'll be on MSNOW at 4pm to talk more about it.

Voting works. It's the only *peaceful* pathway to undoing all this. It's fine to protest. But doing the actual work of political organizing and advocacy will get us out of our predicament. If folks vote next November like they did this November, Trump's a lame duck with waning power.
We are not even *close* to that. And if people keep showing up to vote the way they did on Tuesday, we never will be.

Big news out of Indiana today as Republican legislators surprise everyone by saying no to Donald Trump.

Each crack in Trump’s facade of inevitability will lead to more. Let’s keep it up!

I find it amazing too that Republicans’ boycott of Washington isn’t the biggest story of them all.

The shutdown can’t end if they refuse to show up for work.

Republicans are holding the government hostage to slash Medicaid and take health care from working families—all to give tax breaks to billionaires.

They created this crisis. They own this shutdown. And we’re making sure everyone sees it.

Here’s what we projected on the RNC tonight 👇

During my telephone town hall last night, a constituent asked if Members of Congress get paid during a shutdown.

I told her yes they do because of the 27th Amendment, but I will have mine withheld for the duration of a shutdown in solidarity with federal workers.

Jimmy Kimmel and other late-night comedians have certainly said things about me that I found offensive, even outrageous.

It never crossed my mind to call up the networks and say, "Hey, get rid of this guy."

Because that's not how America works.
